Curiousity. Invitation. Reply.

Do you consider yourself more of a poetry writer, or more of a poetry reader? Not asking either or, but on balance, which moves you more, more toward movement, and why.

Do you read, then write? Do you write, then read? Do you move toward the door, then reach for the handle, or are you reaching for the pull even as you sit at the table hands folded in prayer?

Reply here or elsewhere, on the back of an envelope mailed to Manila. On the back of a memory of your mother. Don’t show your hand if you fold. Just stand and go for the door. Wait until it opens. Then run.
